Former Selangor and Felda United head coach, Irfan Bakti confirms that he will re-join Terengganu and be their head coach for next season.
Irfan, who led Felda United to 2nd place in the Super League this season, will start working with The Turtles in December, as they bid for a quick return to the Super League.
Taken from Berita Harian, Irfan said: "I've made the decision after reaching a positive agreement with Terengganu FA."
"Everything is done and settled now and I will start my duty to lead Terengganu starting in December 2016."
Irfan also believed that he made the right decision to sign for Terengganu, despite The Turtles poor form that saw them relegated to Premier League next season.
"I will work very hard to make sure that The Turtles will return to the Super League as quickly as possible," added the 65-year-old coach.
This would be Irfan's second stint with Terengganu, as he led Terengganu to lift the FA Cup trophy in 2011, as well as finalist in Malaysia Cup and 2nd place in the MSL that same year.
Irfan worked his magic the last time he was in charge of a team in the Premier League, he guided Felda to the Super League the following season. A precedence, that he will no doubt hope to maintain.
Terengganu will play in the Premier League next season, after finishing last in the Super League, with only collecting 19 points, and recorded five wins only throughout the whole season.
