La Liga champions FC Barcelona are set to reignite their long-running interest in out-of-favour Liverpool centre-back Daniel Agger at the end of the season, according to reports in the Daily Star.

The Catalan giants tried to sign the experienced Denmark international during last summer's transfer window, with Barca offering the Reds £13m for Agger, only for the player himself to reject their advances and instead remain at Anfield this season.
However, Agger has struggled at times in this campaign for both form and fitness, so much so that the 29-year-old has recently lost his place at the heart of the Reds' back four to new signing from Paris Saint-Germain Mamadou Sakho, so much so that the central defender has only featured in the 22 matches in total in all competitions on Merseyside so far in this campaign, just 19 of which have come in the Premier League.
And as a result, Barcelona director of football Andoni Zubizarreta is said to now be targeting a move for the Liverpool vice-captain when the summer transfer window reopens for business to replace departing skipper Carles Puyol.
